Technical Assistance & FAQ
Q: The system asks for a password in order to attend sessions - I don't have it. What do I do?
A: The password is emailed to all registered attendees a few days prior to the event. If you need the password
resent, please click here.
Q: How do I attend a session at this V-Summit?
A: 1) Go to the Session Schedule, choose a session, and click "Attend". (Empty your browser cache for this page to ensure you display the most up-to-date version)
Note: To ensure quality, all presentations are pre-recorded one to two weeks prior to the V-Summit. Audio will be broadcast over your computer speakers.
2) Before you can view a presentation, you'll be asked to enter the event password (which you'll receive via email when you register). This same password is used to view any presentation or enter the Q&A Discussion Area.
3) After the presentation playback is complete, close the WebEx viewer window. You can then go to the Q&A Discussion Area where you can interact live with the speakers via text chat and teleconference.
Q: The session or presentation is not appearing on my computer. Please help!
A: The Summit is powered by Cisco's WebEx platform. For live tech support during the event, please
call WebEx tech support at +1-866-229-3239.
Q: Can I test to make sure the WebEx viewer will run on my system?
Q: How does the audio work? Do I need to call in to the conference bridge?
A. The audio portion of each pre-recorded presentation will be broadcast over your computer's speakers. Make
sure your speakers are turned on and the volume is up.
Q: Is the same password used to enter all sessions?
A: Yes - If you need the password resent, please click here.
Q: Can I leave and come back? Do I need to sign out or sign back in?
A. You are free to attend as few or as many sessions as you wish. You may leave and come
back in at your convenience.
Q: How long will sessions from this Virtual Summit be archived for later viewing?
A. Three months. Also, .PDF downloads of all the PowerPoint presentations are available for download
to registered attendees, unless presenters specify that they do not wish their .PDFs to be disseminated.
